Hi, I am Dr. Hani Battah, born and raised in Baghdad, Iraq. Graduated from Baghdad University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. due to the circumstances that followed the end of the first gulf war our family decided to leave Iraq in search of a new home and build a new life. After 7 years of traveling, I met my future wife, a native of Lancaster PA in 2001 and have been living here ever since. I started working as a technician at Manheim Pike Animal Hospital for 4 years until I was able to complete all of the mandatory exams to obtain a veterinary license in the United States. I started working at Smoketown Animal Hospital in June of 2004 after 15 years I decided to become a mobile veterinarian, after a year and half I decided to join the team at Happy Tails Animal Hospital in March of 2021 and have been practicing there ever since. I also have been working as a relief veterinarian at PETS emergency 2-3 nights a week since October of 2021. During my years of practice, I witnessed the importance and high demand for at home euthanasia service hence I decide to create Battah Mobile veterinary Services to be able to provide such honorable service to your beloved four-legged companion in an attempt to give those loyal creatures a dignified and peaceful passing in the comfort of their own home.

In my spare time I enjoy working out especially calisthenics, gymnastics, martial arts, and meditation. I love reading and exploring anything new about many aspects of science and finally spending time with family.
